AIOU Autumn Admission 2023: Allama Iqbal Open University is the second largest university in the world and the first open university in Asia. It is the largest university for higher education. It has many regional campuses across the country. Students can take admission in matric, inter, bachelor, master, MPhil, PhD and professional and short term diploma programs every year.
Allama Iqbal Open University has announced admissions for Autumn Semester 2023 in various programs such as BS (Face-to-face) Program, BS Programs (OLD), Associate Degree (2 Year) Program, BBA (4 Year) Program, Post Graduate Diploma, Certificate. Courses (6 months) and Teacher Training Programme. Candidates who are willing to get admission in AIOU Autumn Semester 2023 can submit online admission form till 6th October 2023 without any late fee. All programs offered in Fall Semester 2023 are detailed below.
(1) BS Program (4 years):
Accounting and Finance, Pakistan Studies, Arabic, Urdu, English, Gender and Women Studies, Library and Information Science, Islamic Studies General, Islamic Studies Quran and Tafsir, Islamic Studies Shariat, Islamic Studies Hadith and Science, Islamic Studies Sirat Studies, Islamic Studies Dars Nizami and Islamic Studies Interfaith Studies.
(2) BS Programs (Face-to-face):
Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Physics, Statistics,
Note: BS program is offered only in Islamabad, Lahore and Multan..
(3) BBA Programs (4 years)
Bachelor of Business Administration.
(4) Teacher Training Program (2 years):
In Autumn Semester 2023 AIOU has not offered admission in Masters Degree Programs (2 years) as Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has banned it from June 2023. However, students can only enroll in the Associate Degree in Education (2-year) program. The university is also offering B.Ed degree programs in the following faculties.

• B.Ed (4 years) – Secondary Teacher Ed. (based on ADE)
BED (4 years) – School Leadership and Management
• BED (4 years) – ETE (based on FA/FSc/A level)
• BED (4 years) – ETE (ADE based on 2 years)
(5) Associate Degree Programs (BA):
Allama Iqbal Open University offers Associate Degree in Arts (BA Arts), Associate Degree in Commerce (BCom) and Associate Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Islamic Banking, HRM and Marketing etc. Can take your admission in 2 years. degree program in the fall semester of 2023.
(6) Post Graduate Diploma:
Supply Chain Management, Entrepreneurship, HRM (Human Resource and Management) and Gender and Women’s Studies.
(7) Certificate Courses:

(8) MA/MSc (2 years):
Admission to Master’s degree programs based on Bachelor’s degree was adjusted by notification of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan till 30th June 2023 so Allama Iqbal Open University did not offer admission to MA/MSc in Autumn Semester 2023. year of study such as BA/BSc and Associate Degree or equivalent BS can continue their studies by enrolling in the 5th semester of the respective degree programs.

How to Collect Fee for AIOU Autumn Semester Admission 2023
(1) Fee should be deposited in any branch of Allied Bank ABL, Muslim Commercial Bank MCB, First Women Bank FWBL and United Bank UBL.
(2) Fees can also be deposited through JazzCash, EasyPaisa and Apisa mobile app/USSD string *786#, Retailer Agent, Franchise and branches of Mobilink, Telenor and Ubank.
(3) The fee can be collected on the same day after the challan is generated.
