Definition of Internship:
Internships provide short-term supervised work experience related to a student’s specific field of study or career aspirations. The program will integrate learning experience through specific briefings aimed at gaining practical work experience.
BISP Internship Programme Eligibility of Interns:
- 16 years HEC recognized degree in Matric FSC Final Degree Diploma or equivalent three year diploma with 50% marks or 2.5 CGPA.
- Interns will be recruited for three to six months with a fixed salary of 10,000 per month with 80% attendance.
- Age limit at the time of submission of application is 20 to 30 years.
- Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Madrasas graduates are also eligible to apply.
- There is a two percent quota for disabled applicants.
- 5% quota is reserved for minorities.
BISP Internship Conditions of Internship:
Interns can start their internship only after agreeing to the terms:
- Internship will be for working hours not less than three months but not more than 6 months as already practiced.
- Not eligible to consult with BISP Secretariat during the internship period.
- An intern is not considered a staff member of the Secretariat and therefore any allowances are agreed between the BISP Secretariat and him.
- Signing of Memorandum of Understanding with University Institutions for Intern BISP Undergraduate
- Students with 80% attendance will be offered a six- to eight-week internship by BISP for undergraduate interns, with no future commitment.

- First, you need to visit Benazir Income Support Program Internship Program website.
- There you have to click on the task you want to do.
- There you are given a firm which is the first step where you have to create your profile.
- Enter your identity card number email education and experience.
- Enter all the above information correctly then click on the container button.
- After that, you have to go through a step which is to upload any file you have selected from the device by clicking on the file and uploading your CV to the hotel.
- After uploading your CV click on submit button.
- Note that your application has also been successfully submitted for the ISP Internship Program, you are awaiting a response.
Responsibilities of the Secretariat
- The BISP Secretariat will be bound by these instructions.
- Provide interns with a quality experience that includes meaningful activities and opportunities to learn and gain practical work experience clearly defined in the interns’ chosen field of study and work.
- An appropriate member of the division staff to supervise the interns to ensure that their problems and concerns are addressed.
- In any official capacity the BISP Secretariat is expected to add value to the organization through its work.
Application Procedure:
- All internship placements of the Secretariat will be advertised on the website of the Secretariat by the Human Resources Wing, HQ, Islamabad.
- All prospective interns are advised to visit BISP Secretariat website where internship opportunities will be posted.
- Applicants must complete the online application form and provide a letter from the sponsoring institution (university or college) if required.
- Applications should only be considered for the advertised internship program.
- Applicants should not forward copies of their diplomas unless otherwise specified.
- Applications should clearly and concisely describe the potential interns submitting applications.

Scope:
These guidelines are applicable to all interns in the BISP Secretariat. Internship program does not fall under any other form of short term. The BISP Secretariat shall be bound by these instructions.
