Under this programme, poor people can get their monthly ration by visiting a utility store or a shop registered under the Ehsaas programme. They can get rice, dal, flour, sugar, ghee, etc. Those with low monthly income were given Rs 2000 ration earlier, but now this amount has been increased to Rs 4500.

The Ehsaas ration program was temporarily suspended during the month of Ramadan, which resulted in its free launch. Free ration program has also been discontinued and restarted so that people can get their household goods by getting ration.

To qualify for the ration program, you have to go through a few steps.
- First, you have to visit the official Ehsaas Rashan website
- There you have to click on Apply Now button.
- Enter your ID card number.
- Enter your phone number.
- Enter your full address there.
After that, you have to provide all the information that is asked there and get the correct information so that you can be contacted and registered in time.
After joining the Ehsaas ration program, you will be sent a change message on your mobile number that the program has been completed and you are now eligible to receive the amount.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Ehsaas Ration program you have to complete the following steps after which you will be verified and the program is valid.

- You will make sure your family poverty score is 17 or less.
- Those who have Ehsaas ration program which means they should not own any property after that.
- There is no person in the household who is retired or pensioned from the Government or an employee working in the Government.
- The family is not receiving Baitul-Mal or Zakat fund from any other institution.
- Must not have a bank account.
- Will not travel abroad.
- Poetry should not become a passport.
- A citizen’s salary should be 30 thousand or less.
