Government College University Lahore conducted the test for Intermediate Admission 2023-2024.
The university will conduct the examination of 15000 students in two days.
There will also be interviews for students who clear the exam.
The purpose of the test and interview is to admit the best students on merit.
All the candidates seeking admission in Intermediate classes are required to appear in written test and interview for merit.
Last date to apply is May 29, 2023.

General Admission Rules
Admission is strictly on merit.
Admission is granted in accordance with the rules and regulations as well as the general policy and procedure of the University.
University authorities may reject a candidate’s application for admission on grounds of inappropriate character or conduct.

- The admission form will be submitted to the same branch from where it was obtained.
The University authorities reserve the right to cancel the admission or refuse migration of a candidate at any stage, after admission or migration, when it comes to their knowledge that the documents produced by him are forged. or is a misrepresentation or mistake. Documents which may affect its merit.
Admission requirements
Only those candidates who have cleared the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in the second annual examination of 2023 with minimum 60% marks will be eligible to apply for admission.
Applicants who have passed SSC (Tech) will not be eligible for admission.
Candidates should not be more than 18 years of age as on the last date of receipt of applications.
Only eligible candidates will be called for interview on the dates mentioned in the list of eligible candidates for admission.
Admission procedures
The admission forms shall be submitted to the authorized bank from where the admission forms have been received within the prescribed period notified by the University. No admission forms will be accepted after the last date for submission of admission forms except with the special permission of the Vice-Chancellor.
Candidates seeking admission on the basis of Sports/Co-curricular Activities/Special Categories must submit a Sports Form/Co-curricular Activities Form/Special Categories Form, as the case may be, along with the General Application Form to the authorized bank. All forms are enclosed with the prospectus. The list of eligible candidates for interview will be displayed on the notice board of the University.
Candidate must bring his/her father/guardian at the time of interview. A candidate absenting himself from the interview will forfeit his right of admission, however, with the permission of the Vice-Chancellor, he may be allowed to appear for the interview provided he proves that due to unavoidable circumstances he is unable to attend the interview. Could not attend, and if a seat is available to be provided.

After completion of all formalities related to admission, list of selected candidates will be displayed on university notice board and GCU website as well.
Candidates who fail to submit their dues within the stipulated date will forfeit their right of admission.
