Phase 1 results
The local body elections in Azad Kashmir were held on 27 November 2023 and the full results of the election were announced late at night as the ROs of the Election Commission of Azad Kashmir finished counting.
These results are unofficial as EC takes time to announce the official results. But these findings are confirmed by local ROs.
Elections were held in 74 USCs of 3 divisions. These three divisions are Neelum, Jhelum and Muzaffarabad. According to sources, PTI has won the highest number of UCs in Kashmir Local Government Elections 2023, also known as Local Government Elections.
PTI won 34 seats, PPP 23, PMLN 10 and candidates from other parties and independent candidates won 7 seats.
PMLN 12, PTI 10, PPP 8 and others 6 in Muzaffarabad Municipal Corporation wards results.
PMLN got majority only in Muzaffarabad MC while PTI won Neelum, Jhelum and Muzaffarabad but lost Muzaffarabad MC.

In the divisions in which the elections were held, the Muslim League-N and the People’s Party won the majority in the general elections of 2023, but despite this, the Tehreek-e-Insaf has won the position in the election of mayors in all three districts.
