The Government of Pakistan has received Credit No. 6243-PK from the International Development Association (IDA) for the cost of the Punjab Cities Program (PCP) implemented by the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC). The Local Government and Community Development Department (LG&CDD) is implementing/implementing a portion of the proceeds from this credit to be applied to eligible payments. To strengthen participating Municipal Committees (MCs) responsible for urban management and improvement of municipal infrastructure for satisfactory service delivery, LG and CDD to hire various experts with relevant qualifications ( intend to use the funds under Window-2).
