Punjab Government has extended winter vacation till January 8, 2023.
Punjab has extended the winter vacation till January 8, 2023 due to drop in temperature. The Punjab government has issued a notification to keep all private and government schools and colleges closed till January 8, 2023.
Earlier, the Department of School Education Punjab had issued a notification on December 15, 2023, in which it was stated that winter vacations will be held from December 24 to December 31, 2023 in all public and private schools of Punjab province. Due to the drop in temperature, the Department of School Education Punjab has changed the schedule of winter vacations which will be celebrated till January 8, 2023.
So now all students of Punjab province will resume their academic session on Monday 9th January 2023. It is also informed that the ban on wearing face masks inside the school princess will remain in place.
As far as the Higher Education Department of Punjab Province is concerned, the Punjab Higher Education Department had issued a notification for winter vacations from 24 to 31 December 2023 on December 22, but going ahead with the new notification of the School Education Department, the Punjab Higher Education The department has extended the winter vacation from December 24 to January 8, while the winter vacation notification has again been issued on December 29, 2023.
